Hi Amit, visited your website, but honestly I could not find it interesting due to the fact that it does not indicate by prices for the packages as well as details, which are shown on all major sites like makemytrip, this is extremly important to take initial assessment for interaction with the travel company in my opinion.

Thanks for posting such a detailed plan. Appreciate it.
I just have few queries. I am planning to visit during first week of June for 8 days
        1. Where did you buy your swiss pass from? And how many days in advance?
        2. Any advice on sim cards?
        Thanks

          1. I bought Swiss pass from Pune through travel agent (refer to names in my blog post)
          2. I bought Matrix Sim card which did not work when I reached Switzerland & had bad experience with their suport ! Finally I used WiFi to call home … which was available in public buses, hotels, public spots

            Hi Again,

Is it necessary that the bank balance should be shown in the salary account only for visa application?
I have a separate savings account where I normally maintain balance while i donot keep any balance in Salary account. Is it okay to show both and do we need to give a justification?

            Thanks,

            April 29, 2016 at 9:26 pm

If you have gone before to Europe, UK or USA then is it bit easy to get VISA, if not then better to show as much balance/salary account to avoid VISA rejection. Don’t worry you get all the papers back from them 🙂 I also thought of this thing, but then travel agent explained me the necessity & it went through smoothly 🙂 So my suggestion submit all bank account details. Cheers !!

            Hi Again,
I just wanted some more info as below:
            1. do we need to have any vaccination record for entry in Switzerland?
            2. Do we need to endorse the currency on passport?

            Thanks in advance

            Hi,
I read the below info in your trip report:

At Zurich airport for my departure, after security check I saw the tax return indicator, I went to the customs to ask for tax return, when I showed him the bills that I got, he said only bills do not work but you need to get the tax return form filled and stamped & duly signed by the shop keeper ! so I was unable to anything at that point of time, few other people also faced the same issue.
            Lessons learnt :
You shall get the tax return forms duly filled in shop where you buy goods, which you can use for claim after you do security check-in for the departure.

What kind of goods are you referring to here?

    Hi,

We too have planned for Switzerland in coming week i.e. 10th June 2018, Can you please suggest if we can buy the cable car/Gandola ride tickets after reaching Engelberg? Since it will be a peak season, will it be too crowdy or will we be able to get the tickets on spot without any much delay?
What will you suggest- getting the tickets purchased online or on the spot?
