– will be able to see forts Jaranda, Ajikyantara, Chandan, Vandan, Vairatgad
Place to stay/take food & water

Water – cistern at fort top, however water is not drinkable

Food and stay – You have to carry food on your own and stay no necessary since small trek

How to reach

Drive down to Nandgiri (Dhumalvadi) or board a bus for Kinhaee and get down at village Nandgiri

Precautions

– use proper trekking gears for this trek
– caves may have honey bees and water levels can be high depending upon the season, be careful, wait for some time once you enter the caves till the time you get acclimatized to the darkness.
– you may carry powerful torch if you wish to observe the caves carefully

bus can reach to the fort foot hills, since we wanted to cover Yamai devi spot we decided to drive down to save time, look at the road, if it is raining you will not be able to get with bus !

Look at the mega wind mills revolving their huge blades inside the clouds

On the way there is spot where you will be looking at wind mills from a very close distance where you can listen to the wind cutting sound, and its a photo spot for you

The first view to the steps to the fort, look at the old tree with roots wrapped around, its a good photo spot

First one would like to have look at the caves for which this fort is known for, there is no light provision inside caves, so if you are keenly interested recommended to carry a powerful torch
