I got request from my blog reader to get get plan for Saturday & Sunday for places to visit near Kolhapur … Her plan is to reach there by 6.30 am morning by train from Mumbai …

So here is what plan on  I have jotted down for her …

Kolhapur places to visit

Day 1 (reach Kolhapur early morning by night train journey)
6.30 amReach Kolhapur from Mumbai/Pune by train/road
7.15 amBk fast at Hotel Ayodhya or Yatri Nivas or Opal
8 amHead down to Kaneri Math
1 pmBack to Kolhapur city, have lunch at Hotel Ayodhya or Yatri Nivas or Opal
2.30 pmNew Palace
6 pmRankala Lake
8 pmHave dinner and back to hotel
Day 2
6 amMahalakshmi temple – Darshan / Abhishek
7.30 amBreakfast of Misal at Phadtare Misal Centre or Aahar Misal
8.30 amHead down to Panhala fort, roam around, have a lunch
6.30 pmBack to City
7.30-8 pmHave dinner at Hotel Gokul near Railway station
Return journey to Mumbai
