Now when I talk about Pandharpur it is quite obvious that I also need to give information on the most famous ones which are nearby like Gangapur, Akkalkot & Tuljapur.We can start from Gangapur where Shri Narsimha Sarswati stayed for about 24 years.

Gangapur  (located in the Afzalpur taluka of Gulbarga district in Karnataka.)

Situated at the confluence of river “Bhima” & “Amarja” this is auspicious place of lord Dattatraya, it is believed that any Ghost affected person gets relief from the ghost because of Lord Dattatraya powers in this holy place.

Main Nirgun Paduka Mandir (Temple)

Located in the mid of Gangapur, have two Maha-dwar (main-doors) at East & West. The auspicious Paduka’s are kept in main room having small darshan window. about 1.5 kilometers from this temple at the confluence of Bhima & Amarja there is a hill called as Bhasmacha dongar (ash-hill), where you can collect holy ash. It is said that this ash is created from holy Homam. Near to this hill there is Sangameshwar temple situated in the area called as Tapo-bhumi (penance-land)

    I would like to clarify that Ganagapur is in Gulbarga Dist. of Karnataka and not in Maharashtra.
