Switzerland 15 – Montreux to Interlaken via Visp, Spiez

The route back from Montreux to Interlaken is different if you wish to travel by normal train and not through scenic train..

there are different options ,,,
Route 1 – Montreux to Visp (1h 16min) then Visp to Spiez (25 min) then goto bus stand just in front of station, Spiez to Interlaken Ost bus (30 min)
Route 2 – Montreux to Lausanne (21 min), Lausanne to Bern (1 hour 6 min), Bern to Interlaken (50 min)

both routs takes the same time (note that these are different from that of golden pass train, which directly ply on different scneic route)

I selected route no.1 above and since I traveled in the evening time I could get some amazing snaps on the way ..

please note that the snap quality here my not look that great since the quality of images is drastically downgraded from SLR RAW image quality to 100 Kb image for fast page downloading. if any one is interested in the high resolution images, please let me know,

It was like watching the firewire show what we see here at Diwali … awesome colour combinations changing every moment during the train travel … u will not get tired to get back till interlaken .. even though this route is different than the golden pass .. i recommend on the way back from montreaux u please select this route to experience the beauty of sunset …
