Entrance gate, see huge nails embedded inside the gate to prevent break in by using elephants during attack
things are unchanged as years before, except you have ample parking available (where u need to pay unofficial parking charges to police, not much 10 Rs /police ~ so I paid 20 Rs only !!!)
one need to pay nominal entry fee of Rs. 5 charged by “Archaeological Survey Of India”

Interesting thing was that I myself was not aware of some of the above listed monuments, that is why though to mention it on blog, someone may be interested in visiting them all once in lifetime 🙂
at least for me it is possible to see things in Maharashtra like Gateway, Excavated Site, Ratnagiri, like one of them “Bibi-ka-Maqbara, Aurangabad” I have already visited 🙂
anyway coming back to the sound and light show, since I was there at @5 pm and the Shaniwarwada closes at 6 pm evening, I came out at 6pm , the sound and light show was at 7 to 8 pm in Marathi and 8 to 9 in English, but they told me that at least 15 persons shall be there to start the show, so I need to wait ! else other way is I buy at least 10 tickets (25 Rs each), so I opted out this time and decided to go back next time (with 10 friends ! ha ! ha !!!)
Latest news in the year 2016 is that Shaniwarwada is becoming WiFi enabled 🙂
cheers !
