Itinerary to switzerland, as planned by me !

By Mahesh 1 Comment | Last Updated July 26, 2015

Before I went to do bookings etc. I did extensive study to each destination to decide the Itinerary, based on extensive internet research for each location, deciding route to give me chance to experience important scneic train/s ruote/s, where to stay, how many days, round route of travel, the weekly market days in each city, alternate plans in case of rainy day (like on the day I have planned for a mountain trip if it is raining, go on to a destination where i can see waterfalls)
I spent lot of time to do this out and result was that I was ready to go on my own, once you go throught the draft I made in the beginning, you may like to refer to my recommended plan based on my experience now.
https://trekbook.in/2013/08/switzerland-2-tour-plan-for-8-days.html/

Here goes my draft tour plan, purposefully i have not modified it at all, so as to give u an idea of what was planned versus what was executed. remember that when u r on ur own, be flexible to change the plans based on the energy levels, whether, availability of trains and main thing is your mood 🙂
like instead of mount pilatus, i went to mount rigi.
like i planned for 2 hours of timepass over mount titlis, whereas i was there for more than 4 hours, so planning for evening was on toss !! but each spot i visited was upto my satisfaction, hence it was a success.
