Holidays are about to begin and you must be thinking of engaging children in various activities, I suggest to have one day trip to the Gargoti museum, Sinner on the way from Pune to Nasik (dist 186 kms) Also do visit Gondeshwar temple (1069 A. D) in Sinnar (see photos from my friend sameer)
Coming back to the museum, It is worth spending at least 2 hours to see all the ***, they have collection of moon rock, mars rock to the fossils, volcanic bombs, ruby, crystals, and what not .. collected through out the world, its amazing to see gods creations in a single place. Displays Worldwide Collection of: Natural Crystals, Zeolites, Minerals, Gem Stones, Precious/Semi-Precious Stones & Metals, Fossils; Statues & Handicrafts.

you will also be able to purchase items made from these natural stones, going upto Ruby which shall cost you in thousands or even lacks !
Surely the collection is worth few crore rupees and a must see for.

Soo many photographs are added just to give you a flavor of what you will be able to see in the museum, Also the persons at the museum are knowledgeable about and tells each and every thing with full involvement which i liked the most. In fact they are willing to provide u as much information as they can.
