Finally after years of visiting all other auspicious places my mother wanted to visit Shegaon …. and I planned it 4 months before considering less rush period of Pitru Pandharvada …

Very much detailed information about the place and temple is available at official website of Shegaon Sansthan so I will skip repeating it here and concentrate about the divine experience I had here …

Main entrance to them temple is grand and as soon as you enter .. you will immediately notice cleanliness each corner 🙂 Volunteers work 24×7 to maintain the place clean .. hats of to them 🙂

While you enter the Samadhi area, deities praying in chorus really gave me a divine experience I had never experienced so far in any other temple ! I am sure the auspicious place has spiritual powers in it 🙂

Even the old trees are taken care by the Sansthan with due care about the leaves that fall off the ground … really creative idea … just have a look at it …

As you move around the temple, you will also see Nag Devta Temple (Snake God Temple) where Shri Gajanan Maharaj used to sit for some time …

After our prayer was over we went to donation window to get prasad and order for Abhishek … here donations in the form of money are accepted … since we were having Sweet Laddus for Shri Gajanan Maharaj we went back to entrance where offerings other than money are being accepted, the place is located on third floor from where I could get the following capture …

After which you can go on to Dhyan mandir behind the main temple (inside the premises only) … after sitting for a while proceed to Hanuman darshan whichis present much before the birth of Gajanan Maharaj and the Audumbar tree below which Maharaj used to sit around.

• Wooden keychains (You can bargain to get one at 25~30 Rs) – I bought about a dozen of them
