Build a Sandcastle
It is always a great fun to build sandcastles or sand sculptures whether simple or elaborates when you are cuddling with your friends and family members. You just need sand and water and the rest will be done by your hands. No extra tools are required thereby to enjoy this full-of-fun activity. However, a cup or a pail may help you carry sand and water and shape your creation. You may build a deep moat round your castle to protect it from the attacking tides.
Collect Seashells
This is really a great fun to collect seashells with a cup or a pail in your hands amidst the rushing tides. Although it seems a no-brainer activity apparently, it actually requires a couple of precautions. You must only collect dead shells, as collecting the live shells is illegal. Also, clean your collected shells as early as you get back to your hotel.
Play a Game
Playing some game of your choice always keeps you active and makes your day fly by. You can select some interesting game out of many playable at the beach. You may bring a ball and play a game of catch or volley ball. A Frisbee or a hula hoop can also do a lot to entertain you. Similarly, Tic-Tac-Toe, hangman and a dec of cards also serve great at the beach. The game will keep everyone busy and involved and, consequently, make all feel relaxed and refuelled.
Enjoy a Picnic
Though there are food concessions and various other fast-food deals available at the beach, they may still prove expensive. So, it will be a great idea to pack a lovely picnic with you and have great fun while eating together. Cheese and crackers, sandwiches and fried chicken, salad and fresh fruits all combined will still prove less expensive. There will also be no fear of any kind of food poisoning being caused from eating the outside food. Homemade cookies are always hygienic and, hence, the safest. Be careful to pack your food items hygienically and don’t let them remain uncovered for a longer length.
Watch the Sunset
The most wonderful way to end your day at the beach will be to watch the sunset. Florida’s sunsets are very remarkable to watch and there are communities which arrange the celebrations regarding sunsets. From the vantage point of any Gulf Coast beach, these sunsets are really spectacular to watch. Both the sunsets and the celebrations are absolutely free. Even if you are way far from the celebrations, you can at least make your own by rejoicing the beautiful evening with your friends and family.
