Barter exchange Tradition live in India

By Mahesh Leave a Comment | Last Updated August 3, 2015

So when I came back from Belgaum, I got my boot space full of old unused cloths !!! sarees, shirts etc !!I am sure you will wonder what is the reason behind this ?

To get answer to this question just look at the photograph below, there is women standing with utensils (steel + aluminum) and plastic buckets and bunch of old cloths.

Another photograph when barter exchange is in progress, normally these women go from door to door, asking for exchange of these utensils in lieu of old cloths you would have. Its worth watching at least one hour the bargaining that goes on in between the housewife and the “Boharin” (this typical name for that women), both of them have enough patience and Boharin will ask for more cloths as against the housewife will ask for more utensils 🙂

So finally we got big utensil in barter exchange after an hour of bargain 🙂
