Athara bhuj ganapati (Athara=18, Bhuj=hands)
- Situated on Shaivalya Parvat (hill) near Ramtek. It is said that Shambhuk Rishi used to stay on Shaivalya parvat. excepting Abhay hasta & Mod hasta, remaining all hands of the Gagapati idol it holds Ankush, Pash, hatvang, trishul, parshu etc.
- It is said that this idol is ~500 years old having 18 hands.

Tekadi Ganapati
- Situated on Sitabardi Tekadi (hill) this is one of the famous temple in Nagpur. Estimated to be ~500 years old, the Svayambhu or self-evolved idol was found while building the railway station. it is said that this was Gram-devat (village-god) at the time of Raje Bhosale
- It has intricately molded itself into the trunk of a huge Peepal tree

Shami Ganesh – (Adasha, ~30 kilometers from Nagpur)
- Stay facility is available
- Panch committee is looking after daily chores of the temple.
- Nature in the mandir (temple) area is beautiful.
- Shami ganapati is mentioned in the Ganapati-kosha.
- It is said that Raje RAghuji Bhosale used to pray this Ganesha every Sankasthi Chaturthi.
- Since the Gand sthal of the Ganesh idol is slightly angled, hence it appears like dancing Ganesha.

Panchmukhai Ganapati (Pavani gaon, Bhandara)
- Situated on the bank of river Vainganga at Pavani gaon in Bhandara district.
- There are about 104 Ganesh temples in this village.

Bhrushund Vinayak (Mendha gaon, Tumsur, Bhandara)
- During 18th century BC Bhrushund rishi established this Ganesha, since he was from Naga vansha, the idol is having nose and slight mustache & beard. this may be one of the reason of being so popular.

Chintamani (Kalamb, Yavatmal)
- Established by Kadamb rishi or also said as established by God Indra, this Chintamani is situated in the village Kalamb (~23 kilometers from Yavatmal)
- The innermost room of the temples is deep inside with 29 steps to go down. Also it is said that every 12 years Ganga appears in the Ganesh kunda (kunda=holey water well). many buses ply here from Vardha-Yavatmal. also you can get stay facility at local temple Pujari.

Kelzar cha Varadvinayak (Kelzar, Vardha)
- Situated at Pach Kuruj tekadi (hill) established by the Pandavas, this is right trunk, four handed Ganesha idol.
- There is Ganesh kund at the base of temple. Made at the time of Yadavas the temple build style is called as Hemadpanthi.

Varad Vinayak (Chandrapur)
- During 10th century BC Grutsmad rishi established this Ganesha,it is also said that this area is part of Pushpak van in Ramayana.

My Name is Vishal from Ahmednagar , Maharashtra.
I have Done a tour of 11 marutis , which are basically in Western Maharashtra
Region Districts of SATARA , SANGALI & KOLHAPUR.
To start the tour of 11 maruti ,
( One Day before ) one has to stay in Satara or can stay at a holi place SAJJANGAD
, which is just 13 km from Satara City. Take Darshan of Samarth Ramdas Swami &
Stay there in Bhakta Niwas , Which provides proper Basic Facilities free of Cost.
–> Next Day , Early in the Morning at 7.00 AM ,Get Down from Sajjangad & Come
Back to Satara City then first reach Umbraj Village, 24 km from Satara , on
Kolhapur Highway.
–> When reach Umbraj , Take a right turn , under the bridge & join Patan road ,
going further , 6 – 7 km again take a right turn & go straight to Chafal , this is the
first destination of the tour. The Ram mandir & 2 marutis are here , namely Veer
Maruti & Das Maruti, take darshan of the deities. then go to Shinganwadi to take
darshan of 3rd maruti, which is nearly 2 km from Chafal. Then come back to
chafal, then go to Mazgaon to visit 4th maruti , just 2 km from Chafal. (When you
turned from Patan Road you will go through Mazgaon , but don’t go to Mazgaon
first. Chafal has the first preference). As done with Mazgaon come back to Umbraj
& go to the market place you will visit the 5th maruti or one can ask the local
people. Then come back to Kolhapur HW and go to Masur to visit the 6th Maruti ,
which is 13 km from Umbraj . Once reach Masur, can ask the local people to reach
Samarath Sthapit Maruti Mandir . the Next is Shahapur Maruti, which is the 7th
Maruti of the Tour. Just go 7- 8 km from Masur, Again ask the local ppl for
directions .
Done with the all 7 Marutis of SATARA District.
–> Now , Visit the 8th & 9th Maruti in SANGALI District.
From Shahapur (7th Maruti) can go to the 8th Maruti of Bahe – Borgaon , Apprx.
30- 40 km, but again ask the local Ppl for the Shortcuts. ( Since, I missed the
Shortcut) . The 9th Maruti is Battis -Shirala , Apprx. 26 km from Bahe – Borgaon.
Done with the all 2 Marutis of SANGALI District.
–> Now , come to the Last section , KOLHAPUR District to visit the 10th & 11th
Maruti. From Battis – Shirala (9th Maruti) , one can directly go the 10th Maruti of
Pargaon ( Always ask for Samarth Sthapit Maruti , Since there are other Maruti
Mandir also ) and the last one is the 11th Maruti of Manpadale which is at a
distance of 18 – 20 km from Pargaon.
After , Done with the all 11 Marutis , Go to Ambap Wadi to join the KOLHAPUR HW
and if Interested , then go to Kolhapur , which is just 15 km .

Mahalalaxmi Mandir & Bhawani Mandap,
Jyotiba Mandir ,Apprx. 30 km from Kolhapur.
New Palace of Chatrapatii Shahu Maharaj ,
Rankala Lake ,
Kanheri Math , Which is worth to Visit , 15 km from Kolhapur.
