Night 1 Stay : Sohra (Cherish Lodge)

Day 2 : Double Decker Living Root Bridge Trek

Drive from ohra to Tyrna Village (12 kms ~0.5 hours)

Tyrna Village = Starting point to the Nongriat Village Trek

Trek for 2 hours and overnight Stay here (so we get ample rest after trek)

Note – Here we will have 2 nights stay, so take minimal cloths etc in Trek-Sack with you (including swim wear)

Night 2 Stay : Nongriat Village (Serene Homestay)


Day 3 : Trek to RainBow falls

Comfortable trek – we will enjoy swimming in natural ponds
(so take swimming costumes with you)

Evening bonfire amidst the jungles of the Khasi hills.

Night 3 Stay : Nongriat Village (Serene Homestay)


Day 4 : Trek back + Sightseeing

trek back to Tyrna Village (2-3 hours)

Day 5 : Dawki visit

Day 6 : Bamboo trek

3) As soon as we reach Kaziranga we will go for Kaziranga cultural show at 6.30 PM (350 Rs Ticket)

Day 9 : Kaziranga to Gauwahati Kaziranga to Gauhati 7 hours Visit Kamakhya Temple Night time : Fly back to Pune


DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN GUWAHATI, DRIVE TO CHERRAPUNJEE SHNONGPDENG
Upon your arrival at Guwahati Airport/Railway station, our driver will pick you up. Explore the enchanting region known for its beautiful waterfalls and natural caves. In Cherrapunjee, visit renowned attractions like Nohkalikai Falls, Mawsmai Cave, Dainthlen Falls, and Wei Sawdong. Overnight stay in Sohra.

DAY 2: CHERRAPUNJEE SIGHTSEEING, DOUBLE DECKER ROOT BRIDGE TREK
After breakfast, embark on a trek to Nongriat Village, the starting point for the mesmerizing Nongriat Village Trek, famous for the Double Decker Living Root Bridge. Along the way, visit Nongthymmai, home to the longest living root bridge. Spend the night in a village homestay.

DAY 3: TREK TO RAINBOW FALLS
After breakfast, trek to the enchanting Rainbow Falls, where you can witness the mesmerizing beauty of natural ponds. Spend the evening amidst the jungles of the Khasi hills, enjoying a bonfire. Stay overnight in the same homestay.

DAY 4: RETURN TO CHERRAPUNJEE, SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast, trek back to Tyrna Village (2-3 hours) and continue exploring the scenic sights of Cherrapunjee. Relax and overnight stay in Sohra.

DAY 5: DRIVE TO MAWPHLANG SACRED FOREST AND DAWKI
Head towards Mawphlang Sacred Forest and enjoy a boating experience in the famous crystal-clear Umngot River. Proceed to Dawki, a bordering town near the Indo-Bangladesh border. En route, visit a beautiful waterfall. Camp for the night in Shnongpdeng.

DAY 6: TREK TO MAWRYNGKHANG, RETURN TO SHILLONG
Drive to Wahkhen Village and embark on the Mawryngkhang Trek. This 3-hour trek takes you through bamboo trails, fascinating waterfalls, and leads to the stunning Mawryngkhang rock connected by a bamboo bridge. Return to Wahkhen Village and drive to Shillong, visiting the picturesque Krang Suri Waterfall en route. Enjoy the evening at your leisure in Shillong.

DAY 7: SHILLONG TO GUWAHATI / KAZIRANGA
If heading to Kaziranga, start the journey after breakfast. Explore Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, known for its diverse wildlife, including the famous one-horned rhinoceros. Check-in to your hotel in Kaziranga for a relaxing stay.

DAY 8: KAZIRANGA SAFARI
Embark on an exciting early morning elephant or jeep safari in Kaziranga National Park. Witness the magnificent Asian one-horned rhinos, along with buffalo, tigers, elephants, deer, and a variety of birds. Afterward, explore local attractions such as the national orchid park, ethnic village, and tea gardens.

DAY 9: DEPARTURE
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before beginning your return journey. If time permits, explore the sights of Guwahati. Depart with wonderful memories of your North East India tour.
