Maharashtra’s Largest 20th Empress Garden Pune – Flower Show 2020 will be held from 17th to 26th Jan, 2020.
Every year approximately 1 lakh people visit this astonishing flower show from all over India.
The show started in 1997, and is becoming bigger and more attractive year over year. In fact this year it will exhibit over two lakh variants of flowers and vegetables.
I will say its a boon to all nature lover across globe. It attracts crowd from all age groups. Apart from beautiful floral arrangements, the show also includes other attractions like bonsai trees, Japanese floral arrangements, etc.
Every year this exhibition is normally held for only 3 days and limited timings, however from year 2020 onwards it will be open for 10 days which is a great news indeed.
The event is held by The Horticulture Society of Western India and called as Puspotsav (Flower Show)
You will be able to see over two lakh flowering plants that will be on display with 30 varieties of these plants.
Also enjoy various competitions that will take place like floral arrangements, drawing and paintings.
And to the top of it there will be a bonsai display, rose show too.
You will also be able to buy plants not only from Maharashtra but Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Sikkim. Source seeds, fertilisers and medicines as well.
Finally enjoy the delicious food from the ten food stalls set up at the show.
