Narasimha of Jambhud

Lord Narasimha of Jambhud

As a tradition I went to Narasimha temple of our family village Jambhud to give an invitation to my house warming ceremony. I was fortunate to get road till the temple using my car 🙂 you know in this hot summer days if you can not get car road then only way to get there is by two wheeler which is very tiresome due to heat and dust on road.

This year I could see lot of improvements in the temple area. Villagers has built a shade in front of the temple, additional room is built for cooking. Also a bore is dig into premises for drinking water as well as having a bath which is necessary before you enter inside the temple. Since this is Jagrut (live presense of god is felt) one can not enter the temple without having bath (treditionally you can not even touch to anyone once you take bath and then only you can get into the temple)

The location is @ 200 kms from Pune so it was @3 pm when we reached there I could not do complete Puja but only could invite god for my house warming ceremony.

And now I am allowed to invite all the relatives and friends … so now I will proceed to my hometown Pandharpur for inviting Lord Vitthal and then my relatives there … will post some snaps of that visit by tomorrow … till then .. bye
