Yes, ur guess is right .. it is Kas (a.k.a. Kaas) ~20 kms from Satara, Maharashtra. That is palteau where millions of tiny wild flowers grow on there own …& its a nature surprise to see it allover … the carpet of colours all over hence it is called as “Vally of flowers”

Yewateshwar temple on the way to Satara-Kas (Kaas). Its a beautiful Shiva temple, u can see village-people decorating the temple for yearly UTSAV of lord Shiva.

on the road from Kas (Kaas) to Bamnoli village I came across this beautiful flower .. I gave it name “on fire” 🙂
Beautiful temple created by “Narayanpur maharaj” which is situated ~9 kms further to village Bamnoli … u can drive down straight from Bamnoli to get to this place … consists of Lord Shiva + Ganesh + Nandi + Datta .. all arranged in some different fashion …
The wall in front of Nandi is in between Nandi & Lord Shiva !! this is something which is never seen allover ! I have seen such thing first in my life.
